Wordless Wednesday: Maurice 'Rocket' Richard

A few words are needed: After last night's despicable riots in Montreal I have lost respect for the fans -so I felt a tribute to one of the brightest stars in the Hab's huge hall of fame would be more in keeping with their fabulous history.

That's a wonderful clip. Hockey is a wonderful, graceful, smart sport. It's too bad that it often degenerates into ugliness.

That's a lovely clip. Some of my girlfriends are in a hockey team, it's not my favourite sports but I do watch the matches.

I know Canadians really like hockey. I just wish I knew more about it to really be able to enjoy it more. Great tribute....and the photo below -the pesticides banned- just is too phenomenally sad isn't it?

My W W is posted, a 'love interest' this week. Hope you can stop by.

Ice hockey is not big in the UK. I doubt my ocal team the Romford Raiders would trouble a Canadian side for more than a few seconds!

The Maurice Richard exhibit came to one of the museums in a city near mine and it was just awesome.
